JAMMU, Oct 23: KC International School celebrated its 10th Annual Day function “Spark 2016” at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here today.
The function started with the lighting of the lamp and floral felicitation of the guests. The World Peace Prayer-A KCIS Broadway Show was performed interlaced with beautiful songs and dances. Different scenes were created with props on the stage to give the desired effect.
The entire snow white was beautifully interlaced with dance performances.
A musical orchestra played a fusion of Gayatri Mantra and other songs.
The chief guest on the occasion was Bali Bhagat, Minister for Health and Medical Education, while guest of honour was Danesh Rana, IGP, Jammu Zone and special guest was Basant Rath, DIG, Home Guards. The Board of Governors Brigadier (Retd) Saranjit Sahney was also present on the occasion.
Chaitanya Chowdhary, Vice Chairman of the school said that the students and staff of KC International School have taken a great step by promoting peace in the world. Their attempt to showcase the work being done in promotion of peace in the world was worth appreciating, he added.
Principal, Maya Mishra presented the school report mentioning the achievements and awards of the school. She outlined and highlighted the achievements of the students in the co-curricular and academic field. She said that without parent’s co-operation, the holistic development of a child is not possible.
On the occasion, meritorious students were awarded in a grand prize distribution ceremony. The prizes were given in academic, sports and few other fields.
In the end, Chaitanya Chowdhary, Vice Chairman of the school presented the vote of thanks.
