‘KC Innoviz Tech Fest’ commences

JAMMU, Nov 10: The first edition of ‘KC Innoviz Tech Fest’ began with a grand opening ceremony at KC Sports Club Hall on the theme ‘Sustainable Development Goals’, here today.
The inaugural ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by chief guest Dr Pooja Sharma, Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra.
This was followed by ‘Ganesh Vandana’ and a welcome song, after which Principal Amarendra Kumar Mishra welcomed the guests and delegates from different schools.
The chief guest in her address applauded and congratulated the School for conducting the event and how, in the present global scenario, it becomes mandatory to make the young generation aware of the ground realities of technology in their day-to-day lives.
The three days event is being attended by more than 200 delegates from various schools of Jammu and will experience the sessions on various topics such as ‘End poverty in all its forms and everywhere’, ‘Zero Hunger’ and ‘Ensuring Healthy Lives’.
There will be competitions in video editing, logo designing, typo master, draw it right, abrade the game, game on, debugging, tech rummage, war of words, IT quiz and guess the language. The participants will learn how to come to an agreement and explore solutions for different problems. The most important agenda will be about internet technology and its usage on different platforms.
The event is being organized under the guidance of Chairman Raju Chowdhary, Managing Director Arti Chowdhary, Vice Chairman Arjun Chowdhary, and Principal Amarendra Kumar Mishra. The lead team consists of Pranav Akshit, student IT Head, and Pradnya Shava, Deputy IT Head with support from Neha Badyal, PGT Computer Science.
