JAMMU, Oct 12: KC Gurukul Public School, Paloura organized annual athletic meet for juniors.
Students from Nursery to 3rd class were the participants of the annual athletic meet. There was a great enthusiasm all around.
The athletic events were flat race, lemon spoon race, single legged race and 3 legged race. The playground was filled with festive spirit, frolicsome atmosphere and brimming with enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
The tiny toddlers of the school exhibited a tremendous amount of zeal and spirit to reach their goals. The event became joyful through the musical and dance performance by the students.
The achievement of the students in different events was beyond expectations.
Little tiny toddlers of Nursery, LKG and UKG were ranked first and second in flat race and lemon spoon race. Tug of war was competed between sections of class I. The fascinating musical chair was enthusiastically captured by students of Class II. It was a feat to witness confident children to compete frog race, german race and sac race. Single legged race and 3 legged race were specially the attractive events, because of perfect sportsmanship skills of the participants presented by sections of class III.
Vijay Puri, Academic Director in her speech said that athletics instills discipline and leadership and it is found that majority of athletes are more focused. Chairman of the school appreciated the efforts of students and teachers.
