PULWAMA, Oct 12: Rajpora Royals entered into the final of the ongoing Rajpora Gold Cup Football Tournament, being organized by J&K Football Association at Sports Stadium Pulwama.
The first match of the day was played between Rajpora Royals and Wachi Warriors. In the first half, Burhaan of Wachi Warriors netted the goal in the 20th minute, which the opponent team failed to equalise and the half ended with 1-0 goal.
In the second half, Danish of Rajpora Royals scored the goal and equalized the scorecard.
The match ended with 1-1 goal and on the point basis, Rajpora Royals entered into the final of the Championship.
Burhaan was awarded as man of the match.
The second match of the day played between Shopian Sultans and Tral Tiger’s ended in draw and both the team could not qualify for the final.
However, Saffron Supers confirmed their place in the finals by securing four point’s in the pool table.
The final match of this tournament will be played on October 14.
