KC Gurukul holds Inter-School Debate Competition

JAMMU, Nov 12: Inter-School Debate Competition was held at KC Gurukul  Public School within the school premises, here today.
The participating Schools included the host KC Gurukul, Jodhamal Public School, KC International, Stephens International, JP World, APS Akhnoor and DBN Amarvila.
Lottery system was followed for assigning topics to the students. Two topics chosen for the debate were ‘Odd Even Scheme of Traffic’ and ‘Surrogacy’.
Chief guest, Rajinder Gupta, SSP Railways graced the occasion and appreciated the relevant topics the students spoke on. He lauded the way the debate was held with rebuttal round in the School premises.
First position was bagged by Dipinderdeep Bhat of KC International School, second rank was claimed by Sunidhi of KC Gurukul School, while the third position was clinched by Karuna Chib of Stephen International School.
Overall School trophy went to KC International School.
Principal of KCGPS, Banashrii Bijoli Barman advised the students to participate more in such competitions which give them exposure and confidence needed to face future challenges.
