KATHUA, Feb 14: Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Athletics Association will conduct Kathua District Athletic Meet on February 19, 2019 at Sports Stadium here.
The events will be conducted in the age Groups of Under-16, U-18, U-20 and above 20 for boys and girls.
The events include 100 mtrs, 200 mtrs, 400 mtrs, 800 mtrs, 1500 mtrs, 5000 mtrs, besides Long Jump, Shot Put, Javelin and Discus Throw.
According to a handout issued here by Sharat Chander Singh, General Secretary, J&K Athletics Association, the athletes desirous to take part in the Meet have been advised to bring with them age proof certificates.

The selected athletes will participate in J&K State Athletics Championship to be conducted at Jammu University from March 11 to 13, 2019.
