Kathua Cup-T20 tournament concludes

KATHUA, Mar 9: Kathua Cup-T20 Cricket tournament, organised by CEO GS Industries, Shahrukh Bhat, concluded at District Police Line, here today.
The final match of the tournament was played between Kathua IX Blues and SSP XI.
Batting first, Kathua Blues scored 126 runs in stipulated 20 overs, the opponent team chased the target by losing nine wickets and thus won the match by one wicket.
SSP Shailendra Mishra was the chief guest on the occasion.
While speaking on the closing ceremony, SSP Shailendra Mishra thanked the CEO for organizing such sports event for youth to promote sports spirit among them.
He stated that the J&K Police has always been at the forefront to provide a platform to youth, so that they can excel in their respective games.
Later, SSP Kathua presented trophies along with cash prizes among winner and runner-up teams.
