Kashmir thrashes Jammu by 28 runs in U-17 Boys

JAMMU, Nov 30: In Inter Division State Level Competition in Cricket Under 17 Boys, the team of Kashmir Division thrashed Jammu Division by 28 runs.
The match was conducted at Mini Stadium, Parade Ground Jammu by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, district Jammu under the patronage of Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Director General, Youth Services & Sports, J&K Government and overall supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director, Youth Services & Sports Jammu.
After winning the toss, the team of Division Kashmir elected to bat first and scored a total of 114 runs in 15 overs by losing 6 wickets. In reply, the team of Division Jammu managed to score only 86 runs for the loss of 9 wickets and thus, lost the match to Division Kashmir by 28 runs.
The matches were officiated by penal of experts of the Department of Youth Services & Sports, district Jammu.
While Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu, was the organizing secretary of the competition, Dr Saleem -Ur-Rehman, Director General, Youth Services & Sports, Jammu was the chief guest at inaugural function. The main objective of the competitions was to select the team of J&K State for 64th National School Games for the 2018-19.
