UT Level U-19 T-20 Cricket Tournament

JAMMU, Mar 1: Kashmir Super Stars, Jammu Dare Devils and Kashmir Rising Stars register wins and entered into the second round of UT Level U-19 T-20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by J&K Police.
In the first match, Kashmir Super Stars defeated Jammu Warriors by 6 wickets.
Batting first, Jammu Warriors scored 107 runs by losing all the wickets in the 19.4 overs. Vishal was the top scorer with 25 runs and Rahul also made 22 runs.
From bowling side, Birjes Mehraj took 3 wickets and Faizan grabbed 2 wickets.
In reply, Kashmir Super Stars chased the target in 15 overs by losing 4 wickets thus won the match by 6 wickets. Sirsheel Abbas played a splendid inning of 54 runs while Birjes Mehraj scored 31 runs.
Birjes Mehraj was declared as Man of the Match for his all-round performance.
In the second match, Jammu Dare Devils registered win over Jammu Warriors by 17 runs.
Batting first, Jammu Dare Devils scored 137 runs by losing 6 wickets. Kamalpreet Singh scored 27 runs, while Aditya Sharma and Vinayak 25 runs each and Rohan Gill chipped in 22 runs.
From the bowling side, Vishal and Ilyas took 2 wickets each, while Towheed took 1 wicket.
In the second inning, Jammu Warriors managed to score 120 runs by losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. Rydham made magnificent 65 runs, while Rahul Kumar scored 19 runs.
From bowling side, Anubav took 2 wickets, Dhruv and Imran took 1 wicket each.
Rydham Sharma was declared as Man of the Match.
In the 3rd match, Kashmir Rising Stars defeated Kashmir Super Stars by 6 wickets. Batting first, Kashmir Rising Stars scored 108 runs in 17 overs. Birjes Mehraj made 23 runs, while Inayat Tariq scored 20 runs and Riaz made 14 runs.
From bowling side, Mudassar took 3 wickets, Athar took 2 wickets, Zubair Amaan and Sahil scalped 1 wicket each.
In reply, Kashmir Rising Stars chased the target in 17 overs by losing 4 wickets and thus won the match by 6 wickets. Sajid scored 35 runs and Zubaidh made 28 runs.
From bowling side, Faizan and Athar took 2 wickets each.
Mudasar Manzoor was declared as Man of the Match.
The officials of the matches were Deepak Gupta, Munish Sharma and RP Singh.
Former Ranji Players Ashwani Gupta and Kamaljeet Singh were the Special Guests in presentation ceremony.
