JAMMU, Oct 20: Karmanya scalped 4 wickets including a brilliant hat-trick to guide Sidhant Cricket Academy to a 4-wicket win over Minerva School in the ongoing Col RN Chopra Challenge Cup Cricket Tournament, being organized at Chopra Academy Grounds, here.
Earlier, batting first, Minerva School scored a paltry total of 66 runs in the stipulated 16 overs. Himanshu (17) and Savar (15) were the main contributors. For Sidhant Academy Karmanya was the wrecker-in-chief, who scalped 4 important wickets, which included a brilliant hat-trick.
In reply, Sidhant Academy scored the required runs in 15.2 overs by losing 6 wickets, thus won the match by 4 wickets. Karmanya top scored with 10 runs. For Minerva School, Hritik took 3 wickets and Sachidanand took 2 wickets. Karmanya was declared man of the match for his fabulous bowling display.
The tournament is being held under the supervision of Rakesh Basin, Zabeer Ahmad, Sukomal Ganguly and Deepak Dogra.
