Karan Raj Kalra becomes State Champion in Lawn Tennis

JAMMU, Dec 9: Karan Raj Kalra defeated Pranaya Salathia in the State Lawn Tennis Championship and became State Champion in U-18 boys category.
The Championship was held at MA Stadium and was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Lawn Tennis Club and sponsored by M/s Devinder Iron and Steel Company Limited.
Sushma Chouhan, Deputy Commissioner Samba was the chief guest on the occasion and Simrandeep Singh CEO Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board was the guest of honour.
In U-14 boys, Nitish emerged winner and Zorawar secured runner up position, whereas in U-18 girls, Pranaya Salathia emerged winner and Anmol Koul secured runners up position.
In veteran above 35 men, Dr Nikhil emerged winner and Dr Satwinder clinched runner up position, in men final, Deepak emerged winner and Sawant secured runner up position.
In doubles, Pranaya and Vikram emerged winner and Deepak and Simrandeep Singh secured runner-up position.
