BAJALTA, Mar 31: Kapotha Lions today registered a convincing win over Jagti Hurricanes in the Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament, an initiative of MLA Devender Singh Rana.
Winning the toss and batting first, Jagti Hurricanes scored 110 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the stipulated 14 overs..
Chasing the target Kapotha Lions managed to score 111 runs in 13 overs after losing four wickets only, thus won the match by six wickets. Rahul Jamwal for his 24 runs not out and one wicket was declared as man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Saleem ur Rehman and Sadiq Hussain Malik from the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
Dharamveer Singh Jamwal, former Deputy Mayor JMC and District president, J&K NC District Jammu urban, former Ranji Trophy Player and member organizing committee, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Samant Singh Sarpanch Bajalta, Ch Rehmat Ali Sarpanch Nagrota, Rameshwar Dutt Sarpanch Nadore, Joginder Lal,  Mohan Lal, Sudhir Padha, Ashok Singh, Dr. Parshant Khajuria and Amjad Beg were among others, who witnessed the matches and cheered the players.
The matches were played under the overall supervision of Faheem Tak, vice president Take-1 Channel and member organizing committee.
