JAMMU, July 19: Ranjeet Kalra Member J&K Sports Council called on ADGP Jammu Mukesh Singh at Zonal Police Headquarters, here today.
During the meeting, Kalra expressed gratitude to the ADGP and the J&K Police for organizing sports events and requested the ADGP for providing department support towards Sports Council’s forthcoming sporting initiatives.
“The ADGP was agree to our request for organizing collaborative sports initiatives in various districts of Jammu province especially in rural areas and in peripheral districts,” said Kalra, adding that Mukesh Singh was also generous enough to agree to our request for providing sports equipment for specially abled players especially coming from the financially weaker sections.
“The Police would also sponsor cricket balls, nets and other logistics for strengthening Sports Council’s Cricket Coaching Centre located at Gandhi Nagar,” Kalra added.
