Kailash Kher enthralling Jamm-uites during ‘Baisakhi Extravaganza’ at Jammu on Sunday. -Excelsior/Rakesh

JAMMU, Apr 7: “Teri Diwani” song sung by renowned singer Kailash Kher supported by his band “Kailasa” enthralled the Jammuites and left them spell bound for hours together during “Baisakhi Extravaganza” held at 17 Miles today.
Kher enthralled the audience to an array of mesmerising numbers, one after the other at the musical evening. The audience greeted the singers with a thundering round of applause on his each and every number.
The function, was presented by Nidra to honour the music legends of J&K.
The function got a good response as the hall of the 17 Miles was jam packed, which itself reveals the success of the event.
On the occasion, Raman Bhalla, Minister for Horticulture and Culture was the chief guest, while Ghulam Hassan Mir, Minister for Agriculture was the guest of honour. Chief Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) Kuldeep Khoda, Director General of Police (DGP) Ashok Parsad, SP Vaid, ADGP and Iqbal Khanday, Chief Secretary were also present.
The music legends of J&K including Abhay Rustam Sopori, Manzoor Shah, Sham Sajid, Pandit Vijay Malla, Kailash Mehra, Shamim Dev Azad, Prof BS Bali, Pandit TK Jalali and Nassem Akhter were also honoured during the function.
