RAJOURI, Mar 20: To channelize energy of youth in positive direction through sports, Rajouri Police today convened two separate sports events in the district.
In Thanamandi, Police under its Civic Action Programme organized Badminton matches in which four teams of the area took part.
Locals of the area also assembled on the spot to witness the event.
SDPO Thanamandi Iftikar A Chowdhary and SHO Thanamandi Nazir Ahmed Dar were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, another sports event was held in Budhal in which matches of Kabaddi were organized between the local teams.
Matches were inaugurated by SHO Budhal Jahangir Ahmed in presence of civil society members in which famous Kabaddi players of the area took part.
