JAMMU, May 14: The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu dispatched a contingent of 42 students of BPEd and MPEd-I to Patnitop for completion of outdoor activities which are the part of the Syllabi of both the classes.
Seven officials including teachers and coaches will be accompanying the contingent for the conduct of hiking, tracking, rock climbing, pitching of tents, training of outdoor games, yoga Asanas and above all to create in them the leadership qualities by assigning them the group task.
The teachers and coaches will take theory and practical classes during this training period of one week which would end on May 20, 2013.
The students who are attending this camp will be evaluated on the basis of their performance by the teacher and coaches during this period and will be awarded marks as per their performance in the said camp.
The contingent was flagged off by Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu in presence of Dr Brij Baloria, Romesh Sharma, Ramesh Magotra, Sanjeev Jamwal, Nisha Sharma, Raj Kumar, Jai Bharat.
