SRINAGAR, Nov 7: Josh-e-Awam Inter-District Under-18 Football Tournament, organised by 46 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, under the aegis of Dagger Division was concluded at Shaukat Ali Stadium, here.
A total of four teams of Baramulla, Uri, Naugam and Rampur Districts were shortlisted out of the league tournaments played at each location to select the top teams for semifinals.
Baramulla thrashed Uri by 11 goals in the finals and lifted the trophy.
General Officer Commanding Dagger Division alongwith Irshad Wani Principal, Degree College Baramulla and Cdr 19 Arty Bde gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up teams.
Winners Baramulla team received a cash prize of Rs 15,000, while runners-up team received a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and both semi-finalists teams were awarded with Rs 5,000 each.
