Jodhamal students win International Awards

JAMMU, Aug 2: Jodhamal Public School reached the pinnacles of excellence when six of its students namely Manika Sharma, Subhagya  Pargal , Kritika Chopra, Devansh Suri,  Simran Kour and Sayali Sharma, under the guidance of their Award Leader and National Trainer for IAYP Shallu Sharma, were felicitated with the Gold Award under IAYP by the former Chief  Election Commissioner of India,  Dr  SY Qureshi .
The award winners were from all over India and included students from schools like The Lawrence School Sanawar, Wehlam Boys School Dehradun, Wehlam Girls School, Dehradun, The Doon School Dehradun and Modern School, Vasant Vihar.
After joining IAYP, Jodhamal students have invested time for their personal development and in the development of valuable, practical and social skills to serve the community.
“Students awarded with the gold have made a positive contribution to the society and play a vital role in empowering the youth,” said School Principal while lauding their efforts.
Earlier, IAYP was called the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
