JAMMU, June 3: Jodhamal Public School student Amaay Gupta has brought international recognition to Jammu and India by winning the prestigious Power Pitch Award at the Conrad Challenge Innovation Summit 2026 held at Space Center Houston, Texas, USA.
Amaay, Head Boy of the school represented India along with teammate Aarnav as Team Flux Orbital Solutions in the Aerospace and Aviation category. The duo presented O.R.B.I.T. (Orbital Reduction and Braking Inductive Technology), an innovative satellite deorbiting system aimed at tackling orbital congestion and space debris.
The project earned the Power Pitch Award and has also led to a provisional patent application. The Conrad Challenge is among the world’s leading innovation and entrepreneurship competitions for school students, attracting participants from over 70 countries. School management congratulated Amaay and his team for bringing laurels to the institution, Jammu and the nation.
