Jodhamal School holds Investiture Ceremony

JAMMU, May 29: Jodhamal School held its Investiture Ceremony for the session 2013-14 in the School premises, here today.
During the Ceremony, Jodhamal School entrusted its upcoming leaders with responsibility.
As per the tradition, older Council relinquished responsibility to the new Council, which received it with a pledge to preserve the pride of the School.
The Ceremony began with a musical rendition of a string of ‘shlokas’ by the School choir. Rajesh Kumar, IGP Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, while Nandan Kuthiala Trustee, Trilok Singh Bist, Arati Kuthiala along with teachers and parents of the office-bearers were present to bless the proceedings.
The students cheered and applauded the Council members and it was a moment of pride and glory for the institution. The chief guest personally offered the badges to every leader assisted by the Principal.
The CCA  Coodinator, Nandani Bakshi announced the various posts and the student authorities were presented with  the school flag.
Principal, Trilok Singh administered the oath of office to the elected members. Taking the oath, the Head Boy- Devansh Suri, Head Girl-Nayan vashisht, the  Deputy head boy Sheikh Aquib and Deputy head girl Urvashi Bhatt, Neutral Prefects, Neutral Vice Prefects and the House Captains and the Vice Captains pledged their commitment to choose the ‘harder right, instead of the easier wrong.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal emphasized the pressing need to uphold the school motto and also stressed on the importance of honesty, integrity and loyalty as vital qualities for positions of dignity.
The momentous ceremony ended with the National Anthem.
