Jodhamal Public School celebrates 14th Annual Day of Junior Wing

JAMMU, Nov 24: Jodhamal Public School celebrated its 14th Annual Day of Junior Wing amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation.
On the occasion, Sanjeev Verma, Divisional Commissioner Jammu was the chief guest, while Simrandeep Singh, CEO SMVD Shrine Board, Jammu was the guest of honour. Vikram Randhawa MLC, Firdous Tak MLC and Sushma Chauha DC Samba were the special guests.
Among the management the dignitaries present were Aarti Kuthiala, Director of the institution and Trilok Singh Bist, Principal.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp to invoke God’s blessings, followed by welcome speech by the Deputy Head Boy Vidur Kumar.
A feast for soul was the musical play ‘Visit of Aliens to Our Incredible India’ catering to a variety of dances wherein the budding dancers facilitated peace and happiness depicting the pride, culture and heritage of India.
Sonia Mahajan, CCA Coordinator was the main choreographer for the event.
The audience was enraptured by the scintillating presentation depicting oneness and God Almighty’s benevolence and benedictions over entrapped humans and was concluded with the message of love, equality and brotherhood.
Vice Principal, Shefali Sanwal threw light on the achievements of the School.
Nandan Kuthiala, The Trustee, spoke of the future plans and presented his vision for the progress of the school. He emphasized about the Rai Bahadur Jodhamal Kuthiala Scholarship, a sum amount of Rs 10,000, which was awarded to 40 girl students studying in Class XI of Government Schools from Remote Rural Border areas of Jammu, Samba, Poonch, Kathua and Rajouri Districts.
The well synchronized orchestra was a toast to the classics and chorus singers were blissful to the ears, enthralling the audience and recognizing an outstanding dedication of Choir Mentors Poonam Mahajan, Deepak Kumar, Subhash Dey, MK Sahil and Kuldeep Raj to promote music, a culture of peace.
The chief guest motivated the students by urging them to hone their talents and felicitated them with prizes. All the Awardees walked on the stage with immense pride and pleasure. Ranju Malhotra and Urmila Kaul Coordinators presided over the prize giving ceremony.
In the end, the vote of thanks was proposed by the Deputy Head Girl Harkirat Kaur, while the programme was compered by the Junior Team of Smart Oratory Experts.
