Jodhamal Kuthiala scholarships awarded

JAMMU, May 18: Rai Bahadur Jodhamal Kuthiala scholarship for the year-2023 was distributed among students in collaboration with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital in a function held, here today.
Anshul Garg (IAS), Chief Executive Officer of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board graced the occasion and accepted the scholarship on behalf of these two institutions.
Anshul Garg spoke to the students and stressed on the importance of inculcating the spirit of “Giving Back to the Society” in the students.
In August, the Jammu Chapter of the scholarship would be held, wherein 60 to 70 scholarships would be distributed to the meritorious girls’ students studying in class 10th, 11th and 12th of Govt. Schools of the border area of Jammu province.
Eight girls each from the border areas of Jammu, Samba, Poonch, Kathua and Rajouri would be selected for this scholarship, while in September, the Himachal Pradesh Chapter Scholarship would be awarded to 25 girls.
The Jodhamal School has also introduced the theme “We are the World”, which indicates that whole society helps us nurture into a true human being and how we have reciprocated it back to the society. “We are the world highlighted the contribution of the School towards the society in the form of donations, scholarship, charity, plantation, awareness camps, street plays, cleanliness drives and other means,” said an speaker during the event.
Trustee Nandan Kuthiala and Principal  Girish Kumar of Jodhamal were also present on the occasion.
