Jodhamal contributes 2.5 lakh in PM’s Relief Fund for Kerala victims

JAMMU, Sept 10: In an initiative to help needy, Jodhamal Public School contributed Rs 2, 50,000 in Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for Kerala victims.
Head Girl Dhvani Gupta and Head Boy Nipun Sharma asked the volunteers to support the move and around Rs 60,000 was collected by the students of Jodhamal Public School in their endeavour to help the people in need. Around Rs 65, 000 was contributed by the staff members to the noble cause. The management of Jodhamal made it double by contributing equal amount to make it 2, 50, 000.
The Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy Vidur Kumar and Deputy Head Girl Harkirat Kaur took the cue from their Principal Trilok Singh Bist donating 10 thousand to the cause through NEFT and also their Teacher Sanjay Pandey doing it online. Many more students and teachers have made an online contribution.
A draft of the amount collected by the school was made on the name of Prime Minister’s Relief Fund and the student council heads handed it over to the school Director Arati Kuthiala and Senior CCA Coordinator Nandani Bakshi.
