JAMMU, Aug 29: Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Manmohan Singh inaugurated 11 Even Sports 2nd Inter School Table Tennis (TT) Championship at MA Stadium, here today.
Today being the National Sports Day, this championship was declared open in 28 States simultaneously throughout the country.
In this championship nearly 200 students from different schools are going to participate.
The championship is being organized by Table Tennis Federation of India, 11 Even Sports, Stiga, Perfomax and J&K State Sports Council.
While speaking, Manmohan Singh inspired the players to participate in the championship with sportsmanship.
Among others present were VK Magoo, Sanjeev Gupta, Satbir Singh, IP Singh, Manmeet Kour, Rajan Sharma, Sheetal Gandotra, Saleem Bandey, Riyaz, Sandeep, Meenu, Shorya, Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Sports Complex and Vasu Dewan.
