JAMMU, Dec 16: Promoting the noble vision of “Nasha Mukt Bharat and Khelyukt Bharat,” the Jammu and Kashmir Tennis Cricket Association (JKTCA) organized U-19 National Tennis Cricket Competition trials at sports ground of Government Higher Secondary School, Bahu Fort, Jammu.
The trials were held to select talented players from Jammu and Kashmir for participation in the National Tennis Cricket Championship, scheduled to take place at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, from January 4 to 7, where top young players from across the country will compete.
The trials were inaugurated by Sham Lal Basson, General Secretary of JKTCA and former Corporator, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. Rajeev Charak, President, Bahu Fort Dev Committee, Baldev Raj Nargorea, Chairman BDC, Bahadur Lal, former President, Saryara Sabha, Bishan Dass (Retd. SP) and Ramesh Chander attended as guests of honour.
The event was efficiently managed by Sunil Kumar, General Secretary JKTCA, along with Ajay Kumar, event Manager, ensuring smooth and transparent trials. The programme was sponsored by Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Bahu Fort, Jammu, which has also actively supported sports initiatives in the area.
