JKP thrashes FCC in 3rd Jammu Tawi Premier T20 Tourney

JAMMU, Jan 6: JKP XI thrashed Friends Cricket Club by a huge margin of 93 runs in the ongoing 3rd Jammu Tawi Premier T20 Cricket Tournament, being played at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, JKP XI scored a good total of 154 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process. Manzoor top scored with unbeaten 58 runs, while Khalid contributed 41 runs to the total. Suman Koul also chipped in with 21 runs. For FCC, Kurtaron took 3 wickets, while Pawandeep, Raman and Ricky claimed one wicket each.
In reply, FCC was bundled out for a paltry total of 61 runs in 16.1 overs, thus lost the match by a huge margin of 93 runs. Harmeet Singh (13) was the top scorer, while Kulraron contributed 7 runs to the total. Arshad was the wrecker-in-chief for JKP XI, who took 4 important wickets , while Rayees bagged 2 and Manzoor claimed one. Arshad of JKP XI was adjudged as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Rajinder Singh, Sandeep Manchanda, Surender and Vinod Kandyara.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Atharav Cricket Club will face Rising Star CC at 9 am, while Lupin Ltd Jammu will take on YCC at 12:30 pm.
