JKCA’s five players selected for U-19 Girls Elite Camp 2025

JAMMU, Apr 8: In a significant milestone for women’s cricket in Jammu & Kashmir, five young players from the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) have been selected to attend the U-19 Girls Elite Camp 2025 organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The players selected are Manya Banotra, an all-rounder and right-arm spinner; Ananya Dogra, Sania Salathia and Reyanshu Rani, all-rounders and medium pacers and Sambhavi Rajput, a wicketkeeper-batter. These talented players will undergo specialized training at two locations – Ranchi and Mohali – from April 25 to May 21 under the guidance of expert coaches from the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru.
Manya Banotra will join the camp at Ranchi as a member of Team A, while Ananya, Sania, Reyanshu and Sambhavi will participate in the Mohali camp as members of Team C. Brigadier Anil Gupta, Member Administration of the Sub-Committee of JKCA, expressed pride in the selection, calling it a significant achievement for women’s cricket in the region, which continues to rise in prominence.
