JAMMU, May 24: In order to ensure robust health level and keep the troops in high degree of alertness, Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police (Mahila Battalion) organized a Route March in Jammu city today. Commandant Mahila Battalion, Aneeta Sharma flagged off the March in the early hours at Gulshan Ground in which besides Gazetted Officers, as many as 229 Mahila personnel clad in smart turnout participated. The March passing through pollution free hilly area of Wild Life Sanctuary Manda and culminated at the Battalion headquarters, after covering a distance of more than 8 kilometers.
The route Marches give an opportunity to the overstressed personnel to move about in open air and boost their morale to perform highest standards of public service.
