RAJOURI, Aug 28: Under Civic Action Programme (CAP), the Jammu and Kashmir Army Police (JKAP), 5th battalion distributed uniforms among 106 deserving students drawn from various institutions of Manjakote and adjoining areas, here.
The uniforms were distributed among the students by Jahangir Khan, Commandant JKAP 5th Battalion, Manjakote, Rajouri. DySP Khalid Amin was also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Jahangir said that Police under the Civic Action Programme has always been helping poor and needy and would leave no stone unturned to help the same in future also, adding that apart from promoting sports in the State of Jammu and Kashmir by organizing various martyrs and allied tournaments in different sports disciplines, the Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police is burning mid night oil in helping the cause of the society.
Meanwhile, JKAP 5 Battallion held a 10 kilometers Road March, witnessing excitement and enthusiasm from Fatehpur to Behrut, here today.
