J&K teams in Jaipur to participate in Nationals

JAMMU, May 24: J&K boys and girls teams reached Jaipur to participate in the 3rd Bhagwan Mahaveer Open National Taekwondo (Kyorugi & Poomsae) Championships, being organized by Rajasthan Taekwondo Association under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India at Rajasthan University, Jaipur.
The teams left yesterday from Jammu for championships, which commenced today and conclude on May 27.
Chairman, J&K Taekwondo Association (JKTA), Anil Gupta, President PC Sharma, General Secretary DN Pangotra and office bearers of the JKTA wished the players a great success and hoped that they will bring laurels to the State.
The boys team comprise of Kushagar Sharma, Pranshu Gupta, Ansh Gupta, Soham Sharma, Santosh Kumar, Rohit Sharma, Amandeep, Aman Khajuria, Vaibhav Abrol, Nitish Anand, Sourav Sharma, Rahat Ishaq Malik, Arvind Kumar, Rudhra Partap, Achutam Dev Singh, Rajveer Singh, Rohit Sambyal, Rajan Jamwal, Shubam Sharma, Pankaj, Nikhil and Khalid Mehraj.
The girls team comprise of Shritya Gupta, Pragun, Ramandeep Kour, Sanvi Sharma, Pooja, Rashmi Gupta, Mukta Gupta, Bharti, Meenakshi, Irum Jan and Stuti.
The teams are led by Atul Pangotra, chief coach and Nariender Sharma, assistant coach.
