J&K team wins 15 medals in National Rope Skipping C’ship

JAMMU, Oct 1: J&K team won 15 Bronze medals in the recently concluded 20th National Rope Skipping Championship at Shirdi, Maharashtra.
The championship was organized by Rope Skipping Federation of India and hosted by Rope Skipping Association Maharashtra. Around 650 students from 22 states participated in the championship.
The players, who won medals, are Lakshydeep Sharma, Parth Mahajan, Sudiksha Sharma, Kesar, Arpan Pandita, Vikas Sharma, Nitin Kumar, Ayush Jasrotia, Tarun Manhas, Aditya Sharma, Dheeraj Karthol and Siddanth Mehra.
Vikram Sharma, President Rope Skipping Association of J&K along with Tarsem Sharma, Treasurer Rope Skipping Federation of India welcomed the team back to Jammu.
The team was trained by Danish Sharma, Qualified National Referee.
The medal winners were honoured by Dr Ashutosh Sharma General Secretary J&K Olympic Association, Koushal Garg, Team Coach, Meenakshi Sidha, Manager and Sunanda Leo, Coach girls team.
