JAMMU, Oct 3: Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Athletic Association conducted selection trials to pick the State team for participation in 33rd National Junior Athletics Championship to be held at Vijaywada in Andhra Pradesh from November 10 to November 14, 2017.
The trials were held under the supervision of Iqbal Singh, coach of J&K State Sports Council.
Over 100 athletes drawn from various districts of the State took part in the trials.
The selected probable will attend the coaching camp from October 15 to November 5, 2017, before leaving for the venue on November 6, 2017.
The trials were conducted by Suneel Mahajan, president J&K Amateur Athletic Association, S Sarwant Singh Gill, Associate Secretary and Vinod K Bhatia, Joint Secretary.
