JAMMU, June 7: To participate in 2nd India Open International Taekwondo Olympic Ranking Championship 2019, Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo team was today flagged off by Chander Mohan Sharma, Member Human Rights Commission and Chairman Tawi Bachao Andolan at Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, Parade, here today.
The event is going to be held at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad, Telangana from June 11 to June 16, 2019. The 55-member State team comprises of 20 girls.
On the occasion, Nissar Hussain, Vice President JKTA along with Ramesh Chander Sharm, Joint secretary JKTA/ Manager BPSP, Atul Pangotra International Referee/Referee Chairman TFI, Anuj Sharma, Organizing Secretary JKTA and Shailendar Sharma, Legal Advisor JKTA presented the official ‘Mascot’ of 2nd India Open International Olympic Ranking Championship to Chander Mohan Sharma.
