J&K SSC asks coaches to record training sessions to be uploaded on official website

JAMMU, June 29:

To make viewers especially the budding trainees, aware of technical skills, Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council have asked its coaches to record their training sessions, which are to be uploaded on official websites and social media handlers of the department.
The coaches however, have been told to click pictures, videos during their professional classes with technical sessions so that once uploaded on social media and official website of the State Sports Council, it will help many sports lover especially the beginners and trainees pursuing different disciplines.
“Initially we are starting this exercise from July 1 on experimental basis and, if it remains successful, further course of action will be decided that how, it can be made more useful and successful,” Naseem Choudhary, Secretary, J&K State Sports Council here said.
The Secretary said that to start with, coaches of prominent games, are asked to send videos, pictures recorded during the training session on official email ID of the Council and it will further be uploaded on social media by the IT wing of the department.
“Many people particularly the sports loving fraternity visit our official website, follow us on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites. To make them more skilled and aware of technicalities of different sports, this initiative has been taken,” he added and said that decision for next step will be taken only after seeing the results of this exercise started on experimental basis.
The Sports Council however, is also coming up with a journal and have asked coaches, trainers and instructors to submit their credentials with photographs. (UNI)
