J&K shines in Fin Swimming, secures 6 medals

JAMMU, Sept 27: J&K team for underwater sports shined in the 4th National Fin Swimming Championship by securing 3 Gold, a Silver and 2 Bronze medals, organised at Sports Complex Faridabad Sector-12 (Haryana).
Mahir Tariq won bronze in Senior Men 50M Mono Fin, whereas Mohammad Eisa Kozgar clinched two Gold in 50M Bi Fin and 50M Mono Fin respectively and Mohammad Ibrahim secured bronze in 50M Mono Fin, besides Faiz E Rabbani won gold in 200M Bi Fin, while Ibrahim Khan returned with silver in the same event.
The other players who participated in the event were Mohsin Fayaz Shah, Mohammad Salik Qazi, Mohammad Daaib Bhat, Hariz Ur Arshid, Mohammad Abdullah Shah, Sheikh Mohammad Shayaan, Syed Abbas Zadie, Musa Shakeel, Momin Tariq, Sheikh Momin Bin Tariq and Zaid Bin Riyaz.
The National championship was organised by the Underwater Sports Association of India in collaboration with Underwater Sports Association of Haryana. The team was accompanied by Swim Coach, Riyaz Wani, Zahid Iqbal and Yasir Makhdoomi.
