JAMMU, Dec 11: J&K registered convincing 10-wicket victory over Odisha in the match of the ongoing Cooch Behar Under-19 Cricket Tournament at Cuttack in Odisha, today.
After scoring a decent total of 462 runs in their first innings and gaining a sizeable lead of 182 runs, J&K bowlers bundled Odisha out for 205 runs in their second innings to set a target of 20 runs for J&K. Prateek Tripathi and Prateek Das scored 33 runs each for Odisha. For J&K, speedsters Omar Nazir and Rohit Sharma captured 7 wickets between them, with Omar claiming four and Rohit scalping three. Aquib Nazir also claimed 2 wickets.
J&K chased the target easily without losing any wicket. Ahmed Banday scored quick-fire unbeaten 19 runs with 2 sixes and one four, while Shubam Khajuria remained unbeaten on 3 runs.
