JAMMU, Apr 2: Jammu and Kashmir Senior Korfball team won bronze medal in the National Korfball Championship, which concluded at Nagpur in Maharashtra, yesterday.
In summit clash, J&K defeated Maharashtra by eight goals to five (8-5) in a close contest.
Jammu and Kashmir team was led by Irfan Choudhary.
The team received the trophy from President Korfball Federation of India, Manouj Singh Chohan and also General Secretary KK Verma.
President and other office bearers of J&K Korfball Association lauded the efforts of the players for this achievement.
