JAMMU, Oct 8: Rain played spoilsport as the match between Jammu and Kashmir and Kerala was abandoned and two points each were awarded to both the teams in the ongoing Vinoo Mankad Under-19 Cricket Tournament at Judges Field, Guwahati in Assam.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Kerala were great guns at 49 for no loss in 10.1 overs before the rains lashed the ground. Openers Mohammad Kaif and Aadidev TJ were unbeaten on 20 and 19 runs respectively. For J&K, Sajid Ayoub, Basit Bashir and Marutwan bowled 4.1, 4 and 2 overs by conceding 12, 20 and 9 runs respectively.
