JAMMU, Oct 5: Girls of Jammu and Kashmir excelled in 6th National Jeet Kune-Do Championship 2021-22 organized by Jeet Kune-Do Martial Arts Federation of India at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.
Diksha Sharma and Tania Anthal won gold medals while Lalita Devi won Silver and Nikita Kumari got bronze medal in the Championship.
The medal winner girls have been selected for the participation in Asia Cup Championship.
The girls was trained during in a Self Defence and Martial Arts Training programme for girls conducted by UT Project Director Samagra Shishka under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam, Chief Education Officer Ramban Vinod Koul and Dy CEO Subhash Chander Dubey.
