JAMMU, Mar 28: J&K fencers won two bronze medals in epee team and individual sabre events in the 23rd Sub Junior National Boys and Girls Fencing Championship concluded today at Raipur in Chattisgarh.
As per press note, in epee boy’s team event, Said-ur-Rehman, Sayam Sharma, Rinku Manhas and Ranbir Singh won the bronze medal, while in sabre individual girl’s category, Subhanya Sharma won bronze medal and brought laurels for the J&K.
Rachna Jamwal, fencing coach, J&K Sports Council has accompanied the team as coach, while Abdul Qadir and Pooja Nanda have accompanied the team as managers.
