SRINAGAR, Mar 3: The J&K Ball Badminton Association, in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council, has announced the J&K UT Level Ball Badminton Championship for Boys & Girls 2024-25.
The three-day event will be held from March 22 to 24 at Gindun Sports Stadium Raj Bagh, Srinagar. The championship aims to promote the sport and provide a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills. The tournament will follow the official rules of the Ball Badminton Federation of India (BBFI) to ensure fair play and high-level competition.
Organisers said all affiliated Ball Badminton Districts, clubs, schools, colleges and institutes are invited to participate. Interested players must submit their entries before March 21 via WhatsApp/SMS at 6005779409. Participants are required to bring a photocopy of their Aadhaar card and two passport-size photographs. No on-spot entries will be accepted. The draw for the matches will take place on March 22 at 11:00 am at the competition venue. A major highlight of the event is the selection of top-performing players who will represent J&K at the upcoming National Ball Badminton Championships.
