JAMMU, Oct 6: Jammu Justice Secular Forum (JJSF) held protest against Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) and opposes the selection list of Ranji test team of J&K, as an outsider has been selected  on the place of a Jammu player.
The protest was led by Harsh Dev Singh, President, GGM Science College and Kuldeep Singh, Provincial, General Secretary, JJSF under the supervision of Advocate Pushvinder Singh, State President, JJSF.
Addressing the media person, Harsh Dev Singh said that lot of discrimination have been done with people  of Jammu region by the Government on the basis of education, development and in other areas and now this discrimination has  been done in sports field.
Singh said as 8-8 players were selected from both the regions of Jammu and Kashmir but JKCA opted a discriminatory behaviour with Jammu region as they select 8 from Kashmir and 7 from Jammu region and one player from outside Jammu and Kashmir on the place of a Jammu player.
He requested the administration of GGM Science College to cancel the MOU with JKCA as the ground provided by the college is being used to fill the pockets.
Shubam, Provincial General Secretary added that members of JJSF and students of GGM Science College will close the office and ground for JKCA till the outsider player in J&K Ranji Team will be removed from the team and a player from Jammu region will be placed on his place in next Ranji matches. “If JKCA failed to do so then JKCA must shift their office from GGM Science College to other place as college students will not allow JKCA to open the office in college”, he added.
Among others present were Abhishek, Sunil, Pankaj, Pranav, Shiva, Sachin, Prajval, Vivek, Luv, Kush, Hritik, Nitin, Pankaj, etc.
