Jaspal Rana becomes Chairman of Delhi State Rifle Association, Farid Ali Jt Secy

NEW DELHI, Feb 5: Renowned shooter Padmashree Jaspal Rana has been elected Chairman of Delhi State Rifle Association, unopposed. Earlier he was officiating Chairman of DSRA.
In the DSRA elections held on sunday at Jawaharlal Nehru National Youth Center, New Delhi, Shakun Bhugra won the election for Vice Chairman post with 117 votes against Nawabuddin who got 45 only.
Interesting part of this election was the fight between shooter Farid Ali and Ajit Singh Ranhotra. Farid Ali won the election for Joint Secretary with 85 votes while Ajit gave him a tough fight with 75 votes.
Former Chief Coach of  Indian shooting team Syed Wajid Ali’s daughter Samreen was elected as governing body member including Achal Sehgal, Falak Sher Alam, Ishwinderjit Singh and Anupam Kamal.
