JAMMU, June 18: Jasleen, Peehushi and Swati crushed their respective opponents and register win in under 15 girls event organised during 1st Dr Pardip Shankhayadhar Memorial Open Badminton Tournament by Young’s Badminton Club at badminton hall, Gulshan Grounds, here today.
Jasleen defeated Mehar by straight 2-0 sets, Peehushi thrashed Amisheka by 2-0 sets and Swati trounced Rounak by 2-0 sets.
In under 15 boys singles, Arun Dagotra trounced Apoorav, Sarandeep thrashed Vishal, Tushar crushed Mohit, Vishal smashed Kanav, Adeshwar defeated Dravit, Abhinav beat Vanshay, Manav routed Shubham, Rehan crushed Pranav and Nitin smashed Raghav.
In under 15 boys doubles, Harsh and Adeshwar beat Aryan and Dravit, Nitin and Aesh smashed Sarandeep and Rishav and Savinay and Aryan trounced Vishal and Tushar.
In under 17 boys singles, Bhavesh beat Deepak, Bashir smashed Nitin and Vishant trounced Manthan, whereas, in girls category, Amishika thrashed Vitika, Arushi crushed Preeti, Jasleen outplayed Nikita and Akshima crushed Rounak.
In under 17 boys doubles, Avinesh and Dhananjay beat Savinay and Aryan, Raghav and Bhavesh trounced Satyam and Vikram, Nalin and Raghav outclassed Vishal and Bashir, Divum and Divyam thrashed Harsh and Adeshwar.
In under 17 girls doubles, Peehushi and Preeti smashed Jasleen and Amishika, Suvidha and Naman beat Amishika and Arushi.
In under 13 boys, Aesh Goswami beat Suveshwar by straight 2-0 sets.
