JAMMU, Jan 8: Jammu University defeated Uttaranchal Technical University in a close contest by two goals to one (2-1) in the North Zone Inter-University Men’s Football Tournament, being organized by Amity University, Noida at Varsity ground.
Jammu University dominated the game from the word go and succeeded in scoring its first goal in the 12th minute through Vivasvan Sawhney.
The second goal by Jammu University was scored by Ravi B Rana in 55th minute of the match.
In the second round, Jammu University will face Amity University Maneswar at the same venue tomorrow.
