JAMMU, Mar 30: Jammu Strikers Under-19 trounced Safran Under-19 by 50 runs in the ongoing Cricket for Excellence Under-19 League, being played at Country Cricket Ground Ghorta, here today.
Batting first, Jammu Strikers made 235 runs by losing 8 wickets wherein Damen Preet and S Chohan made 39 and 37 runs respectively, while Mannav made unbeaten 28 runs and Arihant contributed 27 runs. From the bowling side, Surya Udhay Singh and Lakshya took 3 wickets each, while Agastya claimed 1 wicket.
In reply,  Safran bundled out at 185 runs and lost the match by 50 runs in which Prayrit Das made highest 71 runs, while Surya Udhay Singh and Agastya contributed 30 and 20 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Naveen was the wrecker in chief who took 4 wickets, while Vansh claimed 2 wickets and Saheem, Vinayak Khajuria and Damen Preet took 1 wicket each.
