Jammu Sanskriti School shines at CBSE Cluster XVIII Athletic Meet

JAMMU, Sept 9: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu delivered a stellar performance at the CBSE Cluster XVIII Athletic Meet 2025–26, hosted by Partap World School, Pathankot and held at Sports and Arts College, Jalandhar. The school’s athletes secured an impressive 8 medals including two gold, three silver and three bronze, showcasing their grit, skill and determination on a prestigious platform.
Yuvraj Singh (U-14, Class 8th) emerged as the standout performer, winning Gold in both 100m and 200m sprint events. His phenomenal performance earned him the title of Best Athlete of the Meet.
In field events, Gaurav Sharma (U-19) clinched Silver in Javelin Throw, while Krishna Saini (U-17) bagged Bronze in Javelin Throw. Vishav Partap (U-19) added another Silver in Discus Throw. On the track, Anubhav (U-17) won Silver in the 200m sprint, displaying impressive speed and technique.
The Shot Put events saw commendable performances by Akshita (U-19) and Shrawan (U-19), both earning Bronze medals for their strength and precision. The team’s success was made possible under the expert mentorship of Amardeep Singh, PGT PHE & Athletics Coach.
Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson Rohini Aima congratulated the winners, calling the achievement a proud moment and a testament to the school’s dedication to holistic development.
