Jammu Police organises Volleyball Tournament

JAMMU, Sept 17: Three days Volleyball tournament organised by Jammu Police under Civic Action Programme concluded at Jhiri, Kana Chak, here today.
A total of eight teams participated in the tournament.
The final match was played between Paryel Club and Purkhoo Club which was won by Purkhoo Club.
The winners were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 1500 and the runners-up team was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1000.
Dushyant Sharma, SP Rural, Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, who gave away prizes to the winners and runners-up teams.
The chief guest advised the players to work hard for future career and channelize their energy in sports activities instead of indulging in drug abuse.
Gurbachan Singh, Narinder Singh, JP Singh, Mulkh Raj, Pavitar Singh and Ajit Singh were present on the occasion. The vote of thanks was given by SHO Kana Chak Inspector, Gurnam Singh Choudhary.
