Jammu, Kathua enter semis in U-19 Boys Cricket Tourney

KATHUA, Oct 6: Districts of Jammu, Kathua and Ganderbal made it to the semifinals of the ongoing State Level Inter-District Under-19 Boys Cricket Tournament, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Sports Stadium, here.
The tournament is organized under the patronage of Director General YS & Sports, Jehangir Mir and under the supervision of Sunil Kumar, DYSSO Kathua.
Earlier, on the second day today, District Kathua defeated District Samba by 5 wickets. Samba scored 93 runs in allotted 15 overs, while Kathua easily chased the target, while in other matches, Ganderbal defeated District Kupwara by 6 wickets,Udhampur registered win over Rajouri by 6 runs, Anantnag outplayed Doda.
At DPL ground, District Kishtwar outplayed District Udhampur by 7 wickets, while at Stadium, District Kathua defeated Shopian and Srinagar defeated Poonch by 10 wickets. District Jammu has already entered the semifinals
