POONCH, Oct 11: Jammu emerged overall winner in the Inter Division Volleyball Tournament for all age group girls, organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports at Government Degree College here today.
In under-19 category, Jammu Division registered win over Kashmir Division by 2-0 in the best of the three matches, whereas in under-17 category, Jammu Division thrashed Kashmir Division by 2-0 and emerged winner. In under-14 category, Jammu Division emerged winner by thrashing Kashmir Division by 2-1.
On the occasion, SHO Poonch Inspector Amin Choudhary was the chief guest, who distributed trophies among the winner and runner-up teams in presence of Ayaz Khan, DYSSO Poonch, Krishan Lal, Retd SO, Narjeet Singh ZPEO, Mohammad Qasim ZEPO, Pawan Kumar PEL, Narinder Singh, Damanpreet Singh and Gurwinder Singh.
The matches were officiated by Mohammad Tariq, Neeraj Kumar, Sourab Sharma, Iklaq, Rameez, Majid Dar, Shafqat Hussian, DK Raina and Abbass.
